Our parent guides translate reliable evidence into practical choices. They are educational resources, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
Evidence and citations
We prioritize systematic reviews, peer-reviewed studies, official public-health guidance, and first-party platform documentation. Each research-based article lists its sources, publisher, year, and evidence type. Inline reference numbers map to that list.
What we do not claim
Association does not prove causation. We identify important limitations—including self-reported screen use, cross-sectional study designs, changing platforms, and differences between children—when they affect interpretation. We do not invent expert identities or copy research abstracts.
Review and updates
Articles are authored by the OMO Kids Editorial Team and show publication and review dates. We update guidance when strong new evidence or platform instructions materially change. Product setup claims are checked against current Apple documentation.
