Privacy Policy
OMO Kids LLC (“OMO”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect information when you use the OMO application, website, and related services.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account Info
Parent email, device IDs, preferences, and subscription status.
Child Profile
Nickname, age range, educational preferences. We advise against using legal names.
Technical Data
Device type, iOS version, diagnostic info, and API authorization status.
Usage Data
Quiz sessions, accuracy stats, and learning progress metrics.
Optional Parent Attribution
After separate opt-in, campaign source, install attribution, landing route, and a limited set of parent-area interaction events. This data does not include child identity, quiz answers, learning results, or Screen Time data.

We use collected information to:

- Enable parental controls
- Sync family devices
- Deliver educational content
- Improve app performance
- Detect unauthorized activity
04. Apple Integration
OMO relies on Apple system frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity). These permissions are requested explicitly through iOS system dialogs. We only access information necessary for the requested functionality.
05. Children’s Privacy
OMO is designed for family use under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental involvement. Parents are responsible for creating profiles and managing permissions.
06. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share limited information only with service providers needed to operate OMO, process App Store purchases, deliver notifications, maintain security, or provide optional parent-only analytics.
When an adult separately enables both parent analytics and campaign attribution, OMO may use AppsFlyer Strict Mode to measure installs, campaigns, deep links, and a limited allowlist of parent-area events. Strict Mode removes IDFA collection and the AdSupport dependency. OMO does not send AppsFlyer a parent account identifier, child identity, quiz answers, learning results, or Screen Time data.
When an adult enables both parent analytics and campaign attribution and grants Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, OMO may use the TikTok App Events SDK and TikTok Events API for install and campaign attribution and a limited allowlist of parent-area conversion events. TikTok may receive app and device identifiers, app/device metadata, parent-area product interactions, and limited subscription facts. Server events use a one-way hashed parent account identifier. OMO does not send child identity, quiz answers, learning results, or Screen Time data to TikTok.
TikTok mobile and server delivery remain inactive unless all three gates are satisfied: parent role, both OMO privacy choices, and Apple tracking authorization. Withdrawing either OMO choice stops future delivery; iOS tracking permission can be changed in Settings.
Turning analytics off stops future optional measurement and clears attribution waiting locally in OMO. It does not automatically erase records already accepted by an external provider. You may contact support@omo.kids for assistance with an access or deletion request.
07. Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures, including encrypted communications and access controls. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
08. Retention
OMO retains information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes. Optional attribution providers retain data under their published policies and contractual settings. Turning optional analytics off prevents future transmission but does not itself delete data already received by a provider.
09. Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States. Where required, OMO relies on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for these transfers; use of the Service is not treated as a substitute for any consent required by law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Requests may require identity verification.
11. Third Parties
OMO uses Apple system services and may use RevenueCat for App Store subscription status. Optional parent-only attribution uses AppsFlyer and, only after the consent and system-permission gates described above, the TikTok App Events SDK and TikTok Events API. TikTok's applicable terms are available from TikTok for Business.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms and OMO's contractual configuration. OMO remains responsible for accurately describing enabled integrations and limiting the data sent by the app.
12. Diagnostics
Required operational diagnostics are used to maintain security and reliability. Optional parent-area analytics and campaign attribution remain off until the adult user makes an affirmative choice, and can be withdrawn later in Settings → Privacy & Analytics.
13. Notifications
OMO may send notifications regarding screen time, educational reminders, and security. Permissions can be managed through iOS settings.
14. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
